About Us

To the Maximus Foundation, currently seeking nonprofit status, is an organization committed to the education and awareness of the dangers of synthetic drugs and is working to promote the development of tests to detect these substances and to aid law enforcement.

We came together to achieve these aims to honor the life of Max Dobner. Max was an incredible young man who used his life to serve others. He wanted nothing in life more than for people to love one another with reckless abandon. He constantly reminded those around him that life was about taking time for family and loved ones, leaving the unimportant details for another day. While there will always be a long list of details to attend to, you may not always have your loved ones. Max wrote, "Why don't we just relax and enjoy life as it is, instead of always trying to add to what we have? Life is good, so treasure it. Do what makes you happy."

We invite you to support the Foundation or join us as we educate kids and those who care about them, empower our legislators to make sound decisions about synthetic drugs, and inspire those around us to affect positive change in a way that honors Max's dedication to life and to those around him.
